Description The course will focus on the ergonomics issues related to the design and implementation of new technology. It assumes a knowledge of the principles of ergonomics and in particular it will look at cognitive aspects of human-computer interaction, human error and software design, usability and its assessment, user interface design, evaluation techniques, guidelines and standards, and the introduction of new systems into organisations.
Assumed knowledge: SESC9410 or SESC9411 or equivalent Note: Short course mode only (compulsory 5 day workshop plus assessable tasks completed subsequently). |
