Description

The course provides an evaluation of explosion hazards through the use of TNT, multi-energy, CFD techniques. It then discusses gas, dust and liquid mist explosions and runaway reactions. The course will then focus on prevention and protection requirements through aviodance of flammable mixtures, elimination of ignition sources, plant layout and control of atmospheres, codes of practice for venting, suppression and isolation.
