Description

The aim of the course is to provide the numerical literacy that lawyers of all specialties need to function effectively. Contents focus on Principles of Statistics and other quantitative methods relevant to legal analysis. Legal applications include current issues, such as evaluating legal hypotheses, analysis of DNA evidence, airport security screening, value of a life in wrongful death, legal epidemiology, and other cutting edge issues. No prior training in statistics equired.
