Description

Review of isotope theory and methodology. Stable and radioactive isotope studies. Review of modelling theory. Hydrogeochemical modelling using speciation and mass balance modelling codes (NETPATH, WATEQ-4F, PHREEQC, MINTEQ-A2). Case studies and applications in natural and contaminated groundwater systems. Application of hydrogeochemical modelling in dryland salinity, seawater intrusion, mining, water-rock interaction and landfill studies.
