Historian

Description

Historians investigate past societies and events, usually specialising in a particular area. For example, they may focus on a particular time period or attempt to analyse developments in a human activity over time, or analyse historical material from a particular perspective. Historians are employed by academic and other research institutions, or may work as historical consultants for a media company or other commercial organisation.
