Stream Outline
This plan offers a course of study designed to provide Indigenous students with a pathway into academic study in Law.
Stream Structure
Students enrolled in the Law (Indigenous) plan must complete 48 units of credit as follows:
Semester 1
Semester 1
- ATSI0001 Enabling Skills 1 (6 UOC)
- ATSI1011 Indigenous Australia (6 UOC)
- LAWS1121 Legal System and Skills (6 UOC)
- LAWS1122 Legal Experience 1 (6 UOC)
Semester 2
- ATSI0002 Enabling Skills 2 (6 UOC)
- ATSI1012 Aboriginal Sydney (6 UOC)
- LAWS1123 Conceptual Foundations (6 UOC)
- LAWS1124 Legal Experience 2 (6 UOC)
Advanced Standing
Students who complete the enabling program and progress to the undergraduate Law program will be eligible for the following advanced standing (credit transfer):
- LAWS1052 Introducing Law and Justice
- 6 units of credit of unspecified credit to be used towards the Law degree
No credit will be granted to any student for ATSI0001 and ATSI0002 as these are enabling courses to support students in their program.
