Plan Outline

The Software Engineering Co-op program is based on the standard Software Engineering undergraduate program, with the inclusion of Industrial Training placements.

Plan Structure

Students will complete the following Industrial Training requirements over the course of their studies:
The program structure follows that of the standard Software Engineering program (see 3648), but with the following differences:
  • SENG4904 is completed over the Summer break between Year 1 and Year 2
  • SENG4905 is taken over the Summer break between Year 2 and Year 3
  • SENG4906 and SENG4907 is taken during Year 4
  • Coursework outlined in Year 4 of the standard Software Engineering program is completed during Year 5 instead
