Plan Outline

This plan only applies to students who commenced their degree program before 2009.

This plan offers students a major sequence in Linguistics.

Plan Structure

For a major sequence in Linguistics, students are required to complete 42 units of credit in Linguistics courses, including 12 units of credit at Level 1 and 30 units of credit at Upper Level, including at least 12 units of credit at 3000 level.

Students may count up to 6 units of credit in approved Upper Level courses taught outside Linguistics towards a Linguistics major. For information on such courses, students should consult the Linguistics staff.

Honours level study is available in Linguistics. Students interested in Honours should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.
