Plan Outline

This plan is for a Geosciences major within the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program. It is comprised of 144 UOC of courses as listed below. Students need to ensure that all other program requirements are met as per the 3449 Bachelor of Music / Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program rules such that a total of 240 UOC is completed.

  • Level I MATH, PHYS, CHEM, Life Sciences, or PSYC courses totalling 12 UOC from two different science areas.

Stage 2
PLUS
  • Level II GEOS courses totalling 12 UOC
Recommended Elective: SCIF2041 Research Internship A

Stage 3
  • Level III GEOS courses totalling 30 UOC
Recommended Elective: SCIF3041 Research Internship B

Stage 4 (Honours)
PLUS 30 UOC of research project taken from the following courses:

Geology Honours:
OR

Geography Honours:
PLUS

Level III GEOS or other courses approved by the Honours Coordinator totalling 6 UOC.
