Plan Outline

This plan is for Honours in Psychology within Science and combined Science programs.

In order to become a member of the professional body, the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and for registration as a psychologist in NSW, students first need a university Bachelor degree which includes four years of approved training in psychology.

Plan Structure

For entry to Honours a student must complete the following Level I, II and III Psychology courses with an average of at least 70%.

Level I Psychology

Level II Psychology

Level III Psychology
  • Four Level III Psychology electives
Level III Psychology electives must include one course from at least two of the following three elective groups:

Advanced Perceptual/Cognitive:
Advanced Biological:
Advanced Social:

Level IV Psychology
