Plan Outline

This plan is for Honours in Marine Science within Science and combined Science programs.

Marine Science looks at all aspects of the marine environment from seabed currents to dolphin communication. It encompasses many Sciences from Geology and Physics to Engineering and Food Technology. A marine scientist usually specialises in at least one area of Science and would need to have an appreciation of several others.

Plan Structure

For entry to Honours, a student must complete at least 24 UOC at Level III in the relevant Major sequence and have the permission of the Head of School. The Level III requirement for entry into Honours may be more that the minimum requirements for the Major.

To enrol, students need to submit their Honours offer letter and relevant paperwork to the Science Student Centre, Rm 128, Sir Robert Webster Blg.
