Students must complete:
  • 48 units of credit (UOC) from the Required and Options Course List A & B listed below to fulfil requirements for a single major

Plan Structure

The School of Economics offers two levels of study for a Major in Economics within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

The major in Economics requires less specialisation in Economics courses whereas the Professional Level major offers the opportunity for students to obtain a professional degree suitable for a career in Economics, business or the public sector.

Note- students must have completed the first year core requirements.

Honours

Honours level study is available for Economics students.

Students interested in studying at Honours Level should refer to the relevant Honours plan record for entry requirements.
