Plan Outline

This plan enables students within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences to undertake a major sequence in International Business studies.

International Business is a rapidly growing field of study dealing with the development, strategy, and management of multinational enterprises. Business is becoming increasingly international and the most effective leaders and professionals of the future will be those who know how to deal with the problems of doing business and managing organisations in a complex and uncertain global business environment.

Plan Structure

A major sequence in International Business consists of at least 42 units of credit in International Business Studies required and options courses, of which no more than 12 units of credit may be from Level 1 courses.

Required Courses

Level 1 (12 uoc)

Upper Level (18 uoc)

Options (12 uoc)
Other courses in Arts and Social Sciences may be substituted for the above options with the approval of the Head, School of International Business.

Honours

Honours Level study is also available in International Business.Students interested in studying at Honours Level should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.
