As such, the course will provide you with a critically reflective and thought-provoking introduction to the criminal justice system, accompanied by a discussion of the key issues that arise in relation to its operation (effectiveness and non-discrimination in practice, and alignment with underlying philosophies of justice) and impact on different individuals and groups in society.
