Description

This studio course enables you to study the foundations of sculpture, performance, installation and environmental art, and introduces the skills, processes, concepts and visual language that will support you in future creative work.

Students undertake a series of projects that develop critical awareness, interpretive skills and research methods to enhance their practice.

The interdisciplinary nature of contemporary sculptural practice is emphasised and the course supports a diversity of experiences, including producing works using time, light, spatiality, acoustic and digital sound, collaboration and performance, as well as exploratory applications of traditional sculptural forms, assemblages and methodologies.
