Description

This course is required by students undertaking BCom(Hons) program in Management in the School of Management, and other research students according to their program requirements. Generally, students have completed a major in Management in their Pass degree. Building on this foundation, this course aims to extend and deepen the understanding of different theoretical approaches and frameworks in management research (including for example, organisational behaviour, work and employment, and strategy). Students will review and critically discuss major theories, developments and debates in theory and associated research. The course provides in-depth and structured exposure to various management topics. This course will prepare students to undertake the honours thesis in Management. The course seeks to develop extended professional knowledge to be used in future research, consulting and teaching.
