Description

This course provides a platform for integrated architectural design with a focus on environmental performance. Prerequisite to this course are the knowledge of ecological and bioclimatic design, as well as basic structural and construction theory. Emphasis is placed on lighting and acoustics, which are integrated with digital environmental analysis, modeling and simulation through studio design projects. The course enables students to gain an integrated understanding of technical architectural factors that affect comfort, utility and experience through digital and manual analysis and representation, and resolution of architectural details
