Description

The studio studies the relations between socio-cultural factors and the architecture of public institutions. Students develop their analytical capacity and skills through the study of a complex site and an institutional program situated in a distinctive socio-cultural context. An architectural project, incorporating students’ interpretation of these conditions, is developed to a medium level of programmatic, spatial and technological complexity. Digital tools that aid in the representation of a complex site and context are incorporated into the project.
