Description

This course will introduce students to the theory, research and application of resilience and well-being from the perspective of psychological literacy. The focus will be applying theories and evidence-based strategies for behavioural change within a health psychology framework. The primary focus will be on the individual, but will progress to a consideration of group and organisational resilience. This course has the potential to equip students, at an early stage of their transition to university, with a set of useful and generic coping and personal development skills, and with global perspectives. This transition course is only for first-year students who have taken less than 48 UOC.
