Description

This course develops further from the previous design course by incorporating the fundamentals of the profession within the design studio outcome. Projects focus on public interiors that deal with aspects of memory and adaptive re-use related to medium to large scale buildings. Scholarly links are fostered within a lecture and studio based setting between the activities of the design studio and the profession of interior architecture. Professional responsibilities such as legal aspects, governmental procedures and policy, professional presentation. Imperatives and priorities of various collaborative professions and fields are explored and incorporated within the studio outcomes.
