Description

This course showcases some more advanced aspects of biochemistry that are particularly relevant to humans. The aim is to provide students with a background of normal metabolism as well as exposure to changes that occur in selected pathological states. Components of the course address specific clinical problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and neurological conditions.
