Description

Public relations generates value for society when it creates relationships built on trust and opportunities for public engagement . A key challenge that will be explored within this course is how you engage with multiple publics, build trust and create meaningful public discourse. A case study based approach will be adopted to examine significant contemporary and social issues that impact on public, private and community sectors. Key concepts will include publics, relationships, meaning, positioning, engagement, change, and ethics. Students will analyse and prioritize publics and issues, participate in case study learning and develop engagement approaches integrating creative and mediated forms of expression.
