Students will develop an understanding of contemporary jewellery practice and explore the concepts of jewellery as expressed in a fashion context. This practical class will involve the design of both wearable and non-wearable body related objects. Students will be encouraged through a range experimentation in materials and processes to focus their making on the production of jewellery in the studio environment.
