Description

This course addresses the management and application of business systems in the supply/ service chain as well as essential concepts and technologies which underpin business operations. Topics include: IS theories in relation to organisational structures and decision making, data mining, systems that support managers and business operations; types of electronic commerce and inter-organisational systems; Internet and World Wide Web applications ; security; payment systems; applications in the banking, retail and manufacturing industries; problems relating to implementations of business systems in the supply chain.
