Description

An introduction to Greek mythology: to the creation myths, the stories of the gods and their interaction with humans, and to some of the great cycles - Oedipus, the Trojan War, Orpheus. Includes reference to contemporary works incorporating new versions of the stories. In addition, students will study The Odyssey, which has been a significant piece of literature since it was first composed and has influenced the whole of western culture.
