Description

This course provides a professional level program in Chinese studies. The medium of instruction is Chinese. By studying a wide range of texts, graded for difficulty, students continue to improve their integrated language skills in Chinese, especially proficiency in reading. Topics cover various aspects of culture and society, include intercultural communication, current events and issues in the Chinese-speaking world, the role of the press, and literary interpretation and appreciation.
