Fine Arts

Description

The discipline of Fine Arts is intended for students who wish to involve themselves as practitioners in the visual arts or related fields.

At UNSW, the study of this discipline is through UNSW Art & Design at Paddington. Major areas of study within Fine Arts are: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, cross-media arts and sculpture, performance and installation.

UNSW Art & Design provides a lively and critically supportive context in which students are able to undertake experimentation and research in a breadth of genre and media. This is possible under the guidance and mentoring of a committed staff of nationally and internationally recognised artist educators and researchers.
