Skilled communicators are critical to any business, and our graduates are found in a range of positions, including communications management and strategy, media planning and buying, creative direction, PR strategy, social media strategy, brand strategy and account management.

The role of a modern industry professional continues to shift with social and technological movements, as a carefully constructed brand message can be embraced or reshaped by the public in moments. In our courses, you will develop a strong conceptual understanding of emerging trends and shifts in industry, and establish a broad set of adaptable practical skills and knowledge to assist in anticipating and managing these changes.

Our courses are designed around practical assessments, including portfolios and strategic communication plans and materials. You will build an in-depth understanding of persuasive, promotional and creative communication; public relations and advertising campaign strategy; media relations; digital literacies and social media; ethical professional practices; and collaborative team work practices.

Industry speakers are a feature of this degree and include award winning creative directors, digital and strategy experts, and leading agency managers. Students can also pursue an internship to further complement their practical training and prepare them for industry.
