Journalism and Communication

Description

Journalism is a professional practice which links the public world with audiences and readerships. Courses in journalism introduce students to a range of skills involving writing and researching news stories and feature articles as well as learning forms of digital, online and broadcast journalism. In addition, an introduction to public relations is available.

Communication is a field in which knowledge is developed about structures, history, content, audiences and effects of mass media. Students are introduced to some of these areas, in particular to ethical issues, media culture and sports and media.
