Stream Outline
The diploma may be obtained in Civil Engineering.
Stream Structure
Students undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Engineering are required to take 6 coursework courses (36UOC) from the courses set out under the respective Civil Engineering (and Project Management) and Electrical Engineering Masters programs.
As with the Masters, students may elect either to specialise in a particular area or to complete a more broadly based qualification.
Students may, with the approval of the Program Authority, take one course (6UOC) from a related coursework program. The courses ZEIT8005 Project Report (Single Session) and ZEIT8006 Project Report (Full Year) are not available to candidates for the Graduate Diploma.
Students at the Graduate Diploma level are expected to possess the foundation knowledge relevant to the particular areas of engineering they are studying.
