Description

Objectives: To develop the clinical skills needed to competently examine patients in optometric practice including the ability to recommend appropriate treatment and management strategies for patients.

Brief Curriculum: This course includes conducting primary eye care examinations and vision screenings under the direct supervision of qualified optometrists. Students will develop their clinical skills by conducting eye examinations on patients on a weekly basis both in the UNSW Optometry Clinic and through external placements.
