Description

In this course students examine the basic concepts and techniques of logistics management within the framework of an integrated logistics system. Various civilian and military applications are considered.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course you will achieve the following core competencies and be able to:

1 demonstrate your knowledge of the significance of the key concepts and interrelationships among them, and interpret their meaning;

2 demonstrate your understanding of logistics concepts and the application of some basic quantitative and qualitative performance measures;

3 demonstrate an understanding of and be proficient in the use of the terminology of
logistics management vocabulary; and

4 demonstrate your ability to apply logistics methodology (principles and techniques of logistics) to propose solutions.

You are expected to achieve these outcomes in accord withthe codes of ethics and behaviour endorsed by UNSW.
