Description

The goal of this practical studio course is to develop your understanding of 3D computer visualisation methodologies and their connection to data visual aesthetics and design. Building on your existing knowledge of 3D CGI modelling, the course will allow students to build a rendered time-based narrative short 3D CGI film.

Workshops will include concept generation, 3D dynamics, computer rendering, and compositing. During this course students will be able to select from a series of science visualisation briefs to develop a 3D CGI artefact from concept through to final output and presentation.
