Description

This course reviews concepts, theory, methodologies and techniques discussed in the IS security literature and practice. The topics included in the course are: information systems security management, risk analysis and management, physical and logical security, database and telecommunications security, continuity planning, computer abuse, internet and electronic commerce, legal and social issues. The course will provide both theoretical and practical components. Case studies will provide students with an understanding of computerised security techniques in practice.
