Description

This course will explore a collaborative approach to the delivery of public buildings and urban spaces from concept through to design development and implementation. Case studies will be used to analyze contemporary issues which inform collaboration and design delivery in the local context. These include master planning, architecture, landscape architecture, heritage development controls, and construction processes and contracts. Students will draw from this analysis in the development of a collaborative design solution for a new urban development project in the Sydney central business district.
