Description

The course gives a methodological background for categorical data analysis. Topics include dependence measures and various designs in contingency tables; generalised linear models; logistic regression; Poisson regression; logit and log-linear models. The generalised likelihood ratio testing approach is applied for choosing suitable models. Logistic regression with polytomous responses and application of categorical data analysis for studying categorised time-to-event data. SAS-based computing feature prominently.
