Description This course will give a basic introduction to ergonomics, emphasising the principles of designing user centered machine-environment systems. Specific topics include definition of and justification for ergonomics, design and human error, human capabilities and limitations, introduction to anthropometry, and the reduction of musculoskeletal loading of workers.
